Undergraduate and Master Students

We are a very diverse team of undergraduate and master student researchers. We also host high school student summer interns from ACS SEED program and local high schools.

Our team members are from different backgrounds and we are dedicated to create an equitable and inclusive research environment free of judgments.

PI: Jingjing Qiu

CV

Dr. Qiu finished her undergraduate studies in Xiamen University in China and got her PhD from the University of Florida with Dr. David Wei. After finishing her postdoctoral training under the guidance of Dr. Shannon Boettcher at the University of Oregon, she joined SFSU in 2018. Dr. Qiu is tenured and promoted to associate professor in fall 2024.

Dr. Qiu has completed the Advancing Inclusive Mentoring (AIM) training and is dedicated to creating an equitable, diverse and inclusive research environment for students. Additionally, Dr. Qiu is a VIPEr fellow and committed to developing active learning experience for our students using evidence-based teaching practices.
